Nether Wallop and its sister village Over Wallop are hidden in the beautiful valley of the Wallop Brook, which flows into the River Test and are both picture book examples of a typical English village with thatched cottages, manor houses and winding village streets. Nether Wallop was chosen as the setting for the Agatha Christie's 'Miss Marples' TV series.
Nether Wallop also has a beautiful 11C. Church famous for its rare Anglo-Saxon drawings.
There are two pubs in the village and the Five Bells is just five minutes walk away. |
